01 / Prices

What it costs

Our price ranges are right here on the site, not hidden behind a call.

How much is weekly pool cleaning?

$300–$400 a month, depending on the size of your pool. Chemicals are included. See the weekly pool cleaning page.

Why is weekly cleaning a price range and not one price?

Because pools come in different sizes. Your monthly price depends on the size of your pool, somewhere from $300 to $400 a month, with chemicals included. Send us a few details or a photo and we’ll get back to you about your price.

How much does it cost to clean a green pool?

Green-to-clean and deep cleans start at $350 and go up to $1,500, depending on how bad the pool is. A photo with your quote request helps us price it. See the green-to-clean page.

02 / Weekly cleaning

Weekly pool cleaning

$300–$400 a month, chemicals included.

What does a weekly visit include?

Every weekly visit includes skimming, brushing the walls, vacuuming, emptying the baskets, testing and balancing the chemicals, and checking the equipment. Chemicals are included in the monthly price. See the weekly pool cleaning page.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No. Weekly cleaning is billed monthly, paid up front for the month, and there are no contracts.

Do I need to buy my own pool chemicals?

No. Chemicals are included in the weekly cleaning price of $300–$400 a month.

Why does a pool need care every week in Texas?

Heat and sun work against your pool. Sunlight breaks down chlorine, warm water helps algae grow, and storms and trees drop leaves and dirt in. Regular care helps keep the water clear and helps catch small problems early, before they turn into a green pool.

Can I see pools you’ve worked on?

Yes. Every photo on this site comes from one of our own jobs: no stock photos. See before-and-afters on the weekly cleaning page and the swamp-green job on the green-to-clean page.

03 / Green pools

Got a green pool?

Light green or full swamp, send us a photo.

Why did my pool turn green?

Green water almost always means algae. Algae takes off when there isn’t enough chlorine in the water to keep it in check. In Texas a few things push a pool there fast: hot water, strong sun that burns off chlorine, heavy rain that dilutes the water, and leaves and dirt that use chlorine up. A clogged filter or a pump that doesn’t run long enough makes it worse.

How long does a green-to-clean take?

Every pool is different. Our swamp-green job was 2 days of work: we cleaned the filter, drained the pool, acid washed it and refilled it.

Is it safe to swim in a green pool?

We wouldn’t. Green water usually means algae and too little sanitizer, and murky water makes it hard to see the bottom or anyone in trouble. A neglected pool can also become a place for mosquitoes to breed, so it’s worth dealing with sooner rather than later.
