Privacy policy Happy Frog Pools: pool cleaning in Spring, The Woodlands, Tomball, Cypress & Conroe
Plain English: what we collect when you ask for a quote, what we do with it, and what we don’t.
Who we are
This website belongs to Happy Frog Pools LLC (“Happy Frog Pools”, “we”, “us”), a pool cleaning business in Spring, The Woodlands, Tomball, Cypress and Conroe, Texas. This policy covers this website and the quote form on it.
What we collect
When you send the quote form
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address, if you give it (it’s optional)
- Your address or ZIP code
- The service you pick: weekly cleaning, green-to-clean or something else
- Your message about your pool
- Up to 3 photos of your pool, if you add them (optional)
To keep spam out, the form is also checked with your IP address (the internet address your device uses): it limits how many requests can come from one address, and it goes to Cloudflare’s bot check (more below).
When you just look around
We don’t ask for anything. Like any website, the computers that run it see technical details such as your IP address, your browser type and the page you asked for (see “Who else handles it”).
When you call, text or email us
We see your phone number or email address and what you tell us, the same as with any phone call, text or email.
How we use it
Only to answer your request: to reply to you, give you a price and, if you hire us, do the work and stay in touch about it.
We don’t sell your information or rent it out, and we don’t share it with anyone for their marketing.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts this website. Its computers deliver the pages, keep technical records (such as IP addresses) to run the site and protect it from attacks, and can show us overall traffic totals.
- Cloudflare Turnstile is the bot check on the quote form. It looks at technical signals from your browser, such as your IP address and browser type, to tell people from bots. Cloudflare says it uses them for bot detection, not to profile you. See the Turnstile privacy addendum.
- Cloudflare’s email service delivers your quote request, with any photos, to James’s email inbox, where our email provider stores it. Email you send to hello@happyfrogpools.com is forwarded to the same inbox the same way.
Cloudflare’s own privacy policy explains what it does with this information.
Apart from that, we only share your information if the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
This website doesn’t set cookies of its own. There are no advertising trackers, no social media pixels and no ads.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits: which pages are viewed, how fast they load, and roughly where visitors come from (country, browser, the site that linked here). It uses no cookies, doesn’t follow you to other websites and doesn’t identify you.
Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security cookies or similar browser storage on its side, for example in the bot check, to keep the site and the form safe. They aren’t used for advertising.
Photos you send
Photos help us price your pool. They reach us exactly as you send them. Photos taken on a phone can carry hidden details, like the date and the place they were taken; if you’d rather not share those, you can turn off location for your camera before taking the photo.
We don’t put photos you send on our website without asking you first.
Keeping and deleting it
Quote requests stay in our email inbox. If you’d like us to delete yours, or to see or fix what we have, call or text (346) 572-1202 or email hello@happyfrogpools.com, and we’ll take care of it. If you’re a customer, we may need to keep some records, such as what work we did and what you paid, as the law requires.
Keeping it safe
The site uses a secure, encrypted connection (HTTPS), so what you type in the form is encrypted on its way to us. No website or inbox is perfectly secure, so please don’t send things we don’t need, like payment card or bank details, through the form.
Children
This website is for homeowners and other adults. It isn’t meant for children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you’re under 18, please ask a parent to contact us.
Changes to this policy
If what the website does changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
